Hello, my name is Jennifer. My Mother is fighting Stage IV Metastatic Breast cancer and has been very strong through the last 4 years. They initially gave her 6 months to live, and she had far surpassed that. She is tough and has never given up this far.
I am asking for help for her because she is still having to work to pay her bills. She’s working and going about her everyday life; though she’s struggling to breathe as she walks across the room. She cannot take a shower often as she can’t stand for that long; she cannot do the dishes as it’s too strenuous on her. We shop for her and wash her hair; make food for her so she can just put it in the microwave. She has to take breaths mid sentence, just to complete her thought. Just getting to the store or the bank, takes everything she’s got. Imagine what that must feel like.
She really can’t and does not need to be working right now. She needs to be resting and breathing fresh air if she still has any chance to fight or just to have some sort of relief during her final days without having to worry about bills. I honestly don’t know how long she has left.
I want to offer her the money to pay her bills and allow her to rest in her home as long as she needs, without worrying about working to pay her bills. I can’t give her all
of this on my own. I humbly ask for your help, to be able to give it to her. Every little bit helps as it all adds up. I appreciate anything and it will be a huge gift to her.
