​Story:

I never imagined that our lives, once filled with laughter and dreams, would be shattered in a heartbeat. This war didn’t just take my husband—my partner and protector—it stole the childhood of my three young children: Yahya, Mohammad, and Islam, all under the age of eight.

​Today, we live in a tent that offers no shelter from the scorching sun or the harsh realities of displacement. We have been forced to flee from place to place, carrying only our broken memories and hearts burdened with grief. My little ones, who should be sitting in classrooms and playing safely at home, now spend their days struggling to survive in the uncertainty of a displaced camp. Every day, they ask me, "When can we go home? When will the war end?" I have no answers, only tears I struggle to hide.

​They have lost everything: their right to an education, their basic health needs, and the simple comforts of a home. We lack the bare essentials, and the fear of the unknown has become our constant companion. As a widow and a mother, I have lost my entire world, but I refuse to lose my children.
