A woman who had been diagnosed with a genetic disorder and had been told that she would never be able to bear children was able to prove to the world that she could conceive and that women with sickle cell anemia could bear children. She was determined not to give up on her dream of having a family that would love her unconditionally. A strong powerful woman found her purpose in life and succeeded in serving and profiled her purpose before she passed @ 8:55 on 2 April 2024. Background on Sickle Cell Disease: ¨Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a group of inherited red blood cell disorders. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, a protein that carries oxygen. Healthy red blood cells are round and move through small blood vessels to carry oxygen to all body parts. In someone with SCD, the hemoglobin is abnormal, which causes the red blood cells to become hard and sticky and look like a C-shaped farm tool called a “sickle.” The sickle cells die early, which causes a constant shortage of red blood cells. Also, when they travel through small blood vessels, they get stuck and clog the blood flow. This can cause pain and other serious complications (health problems) such as infection, acute chest syndrome, and stroke. (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).¨ Mother passed away and I personally lost a big part of my heart. My mother was more then just a mother or a parent who took care of her children she was my Best Friend. She was the only one who listens to me complain and put up with my bs all the time, she’s the person who dresses me where do you think I get my style from. I would always ask for her opinion because it matter to me the most. I was raised up hearing the saying Mother knows best like off the family movie Rapunzel so kept in my mind that my mother was right all the time in which she was. When I was my mom used to help with my homework in elementary school, more like do it for me if you know what I mean and I would always erase it when I get to school cause I would think it’s wrong looking off another child paper. My mother was smart even though I should’ve kept it because coming to find out she was right, that’s when I finally learned my lesson that mothers knows best. People used to always talked about how I looked overweight when I was younger and made me cry, but my mother was the one who would always there to lift my head up and told me she loves my chunky butt and say that they hating cause they can’t be like you. She would always se fuck them they ugly that’s why they calling you names cause your aurora is peaceful and they want to ruin it. My mother taught me that it’s not about what’s on the outside or in your pants it’s about the inside the heart and the mind. Everybody can vouch that she had the biggest heart there no need to go in debt iykyk. My mother is the cheddar broccoli to my soup in which that was the last meal she ate. Me losing my Best Friend doesn’t feel normal she would always comes back home and this time she didn’t. She promised to give me 50 more years but, god was ready to take her home. I’m actually okay, sad and angry that she’s gone, because she’ll never have to suffer again. Tajuana been in and out of the hospital for 42 years in the making. Now I am lost and don’t what do or think now that she’s no longer with us. My family and I are trying to come up with money for funeral expenses and would appreciate any help that is given . My mother has three beautiful young daughters, who are left trying to pick up the pieces and I want to make sure that they have any resource that is available to them.She truly was an Angel in disguise. She raised children that wasn’t even hers and made a huge impact to her family and friends. The goal for her funeral expenses is $5000. Anything will be greatly appreciated , thank you for your time.
