My name is Elmer Fernandez and I am fundraising for my sister, Grace Ann F. Martes, who is currently fighting for her life in the hospital.

On October 17, Grace was found lying unconscious on the floor by her husband. She was rushed to the nearest hospital, and after several tests, we were devastated to learn that she had suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. Doctors told us she needed immediate brain surgery to remove the blood clot and temporarily clip the aneurysm to save her life.

On October 19, Grace underwent her first surgery. She is still unconscious in her hospital bed, bravely fighting each day. The doctors informed us that she will still need another surgery to fully repair the ruptured vein in her brain.

As of now:

The doctor’s fee for the first surgery is ₱800,000

The running hospital bill is already ₱320,000 and continues to increase daily

Our family is doing everything we can, but the medical expenses are far beyond what we can afford. This is why we are humbly reaching out to kind hearts for help.

Grace is a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She is a humble, caring, and gentle soul who has always helped others in her own simple ways. Now, it is our turn to help her.
