From mother to mother... From human to human
My name is Amira al-Dabba, and I am the mother of my daughter, Revan. I live in Gaza, specifically in an area directly affected by the recent war.
Since the beginning of the war, we lost our home, our only refuge, and were displaced, searching for a safe place to sleep and a morsel of food to feed my children. My little girl's only fault is that she was born in a place that has never known peace. Every day I ask myself:
How will I feed them? How will I keep them warm? How will I explain to them that this is not a punishment from life?
Sometimes I don't even have enough money for bread, and sometimes I cry in secret so they won't see my fear.
But I still believe that there are still living hearts in this world... and that there are those who haven't forgotten the people of Gaza.
That's why I launched this campaign.
Not just for me, but for every mother like me, and for every innocent child living in the hope of waking up from this nightmare. Your donation today, however small, could mean:
A meal for my children
Medicine for my sick child
A roof over our heads
From my heart to yours... Thank you for reading my story.
And thank you so much if you contribute to or participate in the campaign.
