Please help Kobe rebuild his life again

Kobe lost everything in a car accident with his mum that claimed her life .

My name is Megan and I’m Kobe’s Aunt and current carer.

I’ve had my 10 yr old nephew in my care for a few months while his dad secures a rental in Adelaide (after a recent separation with step mum.
Saturday his “very own mum” visited from Berri and they had a beautiful day enjoying the Mildura show. Kobe commenting to his mum this has been the best day of my life ever.
She was absent for a time, healing  herself from past trauma’s that occurred many times over many years.
In the last few years She beat her demons and was doing so amazing, in the last 3-4 years and a lot more this past 6 months reuniting with her children (My younger brothers beautiful children) we have all raised as a family tribe. Jayden her eldest has remained by his mothers side through everything and is an amazing young man she was very thankful for and proud of.

Rebecca was taking Kobe the youngest home to live with his dad again and start school on Monday. Life was going back to a new normal, living with dad Jacob and Tahlia and lots of visits and especially school holidays with his “very own mum”

Saturday night at 10:50 I received a call from Kobe it was the most distressing two hours of FaceTime I have ever had to deal with. This dear little boy and his mum had been clipped by a truck and spun out of control.
Within a minute Kobe FaceTimed, I was at the Mildura show packing up still and was very lucky a security guy pointed me towards 5 police officers 20m away.
I ran , bone on bone hip and all I ran, to the police, remained calm and talked that brave kid through checking his mum, trying to workout where they were. Amongst trauma crying and terror he stopped took a breath checked his iPad and said Aunty Megan we’ve been driving for 50 minutes and I’ll send you my location from my maps ( which he studies constantly, commentating progress on every trip.)
Within seconds in a very low internet zone come that location and the police got straight onto it and within 15-20 painfully frightening minutes the first car arrived on scene. Universe willing that internet floated in and out but mostly in, the entire time and when his phone went flat the ambulance guy gave him his phone to use so we were in constant contact until he reached the hospital . The police remained by my side until the services arrived gave us instructions and didn’t leave until we headed to the hospital to wait.
Kobe is as he says physically ok, sore wrist, cut knee and seatbelt trauma but that’s it. Because he had actually just reclined his seat to rest as internet dropped out he saved his life. Kobe’s mum Rebecca did what any parent would do , swerved , took the brunt and paid with her life to save his. It’s heartbreaking that after fighting the battle of her life for 10 years she finally made it relatively unscathed and was rebuilding life and was reunited with her children and after a few short but awesome months has now tragically died in a split second accident, the push and pull of emotions of being so very grateful of one surviving yet so terribly traumatised of losing another is just so difficult. Kobe’s entire world was in that car and most destroyed . He’s lost not only his mother but most of his belongings. Kobe’s mum Rebecca has 4 earth-side children Jayden, Thalia, Jacob and one beautiful Angel Kayleigh, so the family have suffered many tragedies and traumas and my dear little Kobe is left wondering why bad things happen and is it only his family it keeps happening to.
I never ask for help for myself and I probably never will but I’m asking for Kobe and his siblings who won’t be entitled to any assistance because of the guardianship situations and It’s not fair to the children to suffer because of things they have no control over .
please please anything even $1 so I can help Kobe replace his life possessions.
He says in his now raspy little voice Aunty Megan it’s just things I’d rather have my mum.
but his things were save for by himself. This very brave little boy is just amazing.
