Hey there new friends!

My name is Kimberly Benedict and I'm writing this in hopes you can help me. My family are only working with a fixed Social Security check to live each month, with a small pmt coming in mivd month because I'm raising my grand daughter 17 yrs old. Because both of her parents have passed.

A few weeks ago my car, my families only transportation, was stolen while my 61 year old hubby was donating plasma to make a little money for the family. He's been doing this since he lost his good job. We jokingly call it his part time job. It was stolen out of the parking lot. Apparently if you know how, Hyundai keys you can file down to fit most models, if you know how.

Well I didn't know what to do, only report it stolen. Well it was the same evening the police call me they think they have found the car, but they wanted me to come to the site where it was, because the vehicle was on fire. The fire dept. was there when we finally got there, and put the interior of the car out. It was my car. The sinking feeling inside that I had, I can't describe. So it was a total loss, and it was a 20 year old car, with just the minimum insurance on it I needed to drive.

I've found a car after looking very hard that is lower in miles than mine was and a year younger! I was so excited! 2006 Hyundai Elantra 117k miles and purrs like a kitten. You really can't even hear it run. My hubby, grew up around cars learned how to do everything mechanical and he looked it over extremely well . Sure it's got a few body problems, and the door on the driver's side open hinge has to be replaced but nothing we can't deal with. We test drove it. It's perfect for my families transportation! The biggest problem, is it not gonna last until I get paid. Someone will buy it pretty quick, so, I'm asking for help. The car, and what I need to get it on the road is only $1200.
