PLEASE HELP my daughter and granddaughter!

As many of you know, our daughter, Kameron Hughes, has been legally forced to live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana since July 2016 due to a joint-custody arrangement executed between she and her ex-boyfriend. For the last few years, Kam has tried so hard to make the best of her situation and make the relationship work for the sake of her daughter and my beautiful granddaughter - Piper Rose.
Unfortunately the time of trying has passed, and life in Baton Rouge has become literally unbearable for my daughter, and co-parenting with the father of her child has become literally impossible.
I am not exaggerating when I say that our daughter has lived through some unbelievable and unspeakable trauma and abuse. But our daughter is resilient and she is a survivor. After years of remaining silent, she has finally broken free from her abuse ex and has decided to make drastic changes for both she and her daughter. For this, her father and I are extremely proud of her.
Although we wish she could just pack up and leave, this isn’t the case. We have hired excellent legal representation in order to modify the current custody arrangements that are in place, and we are very confident that her new attorney will be able to help us. Unfortunately this custody battle has just begun and we’ve already spent thousands and thousands of dollars in a very short time. Between trying to provide as much assistance as we can towards the court costs, Kam is working two full-time jobs, and receives ZERO child support from Piper’s father, although he is court-ordered to do so. She still manages to support herself, her child, and pay her bills - but the legal fees just continue adding up, and are only going to continue to grow - especially if we hope at all to get the outcome we wish for.
All we truly desire is for the court to allow our daughter and grandchild to relocate from Louisiana and move back to Florida where they both have an incredible support system waiting on them. Piper will have the best education available and Kam will have the chance to finally provide Piper with a SAFE, stable, and happy home life filled with family and friends. (A nice change from the discriminatory and disgustingly biased “small-town politics” that control their lives currently in Baton Rouge.)
Tom and I want to know - why should our daughter and granddaughter be forced to live in a State where they have zero support, zero family, and only a few true friends?!
What if this was your family?
Our daughter is being punished because she CHOSE to have a child there with a man who truly had her fooled into thinking he was a kind and decent human?
He had us all fooled!
Sidenote: Our daughter and our entire family truly believed this man was a kind, loving, individual who wanted to provide a happy life for our daughter. Unfortunately, shortly after the birth of our granddaughter, his true identity could no longer remain hidden and he revealed himself to be a manipulative, sociopathic IMPOSTER, and a dangerous and abusive NARCISSIST. Also a complete sociopath - whose only goal in life has been to destroy our daughter and her life as well. This is not even an exaggeration. This is the unbelievable reality our family has been forced to live with and endure over the last few years. It has to stop.
So with all that being said - If you’re able and willing, please show your support for our family and help put an end to this exhausting chapter of our lives. PLEASE help Kam and Piper so they finally have the chance to live in peace, surrounded by their family.
And honestly, Tom and I just want to finally sleep better at night, knowing our girls are safe and that whenever the phone rings - something terrible isn't waiting for us on the other line.
