Please help injured mom and kids!

Anyone who knows me, knows how I feel about Go Fund Me pages, and my strong thoughts on taking care of yourself, and not asking for "hand outs", or even "help".... So I know you will be surprised to even see this coming from me.
However, as I have learned, life and situations are not cookie-cutter, and life is not one-size-fits-all....

This is my friend Janelle, and her littles, Mason and Lola. I first met Janelle at a school Halloween function but had spoken with her, and her family for many months before, being connected thru Holy Cross School, where Mason was entering kindergarten with my son.
That was almost 4 years ago. I was asked by the school if I could occassionally help and "carpool" Mason to school, since he was on our way, and was connected via text to Janelle and her husband.  I was told his mom was in an accident, (with her family all out of state) and Dad could not always get him there due to work responsibilities.

Janelle was not in an "accident"... She hit by a car, and thrown 20 feet into the culvert infront of her home, while getting her mail. As she lie crushed and semi conscious on the side of the road, a Holy Cross Family was first on the scene, and came to her aid, her only words were "are my kids ok? where are my kids?" After franticaly searching the culvert for Mason and Lola, they realised they were safely in their car seat in her truck, sitting pulled up a bit in the driveway, no idea what just happened to their Momma. Sadly the driver that hit  and almost killed her is deemed "uncollectable" by the courts, and she will receive no restitution for this... No financial support... NOTHING...But what she has received is this...

Temporarily paralyzed... With a crushed pelvis, held together now after multiple surgeries, by pins and plates, going to to septic shock, broken legs, muscle and tissue atrophy, more surgeries to remove pins, plates and wires to replace with new. Constant pain, constant....Having to learn how to walk again, and again, and again, after each surgery and setback, recurrent infections in wound sites, IV antibiotics, and the list goes on.

Able to walk now with a cane or walker, and leg supports, she is a hands on mom and 100% there for both her kids- and has never used her pain, or handicap as an excuse to not do anything- EVER!

Sadly 4 months after the accident, still in a wheelchair and unable to get out, her loving husband decided he could not deal
with this, because this was not who he married, and served her with divorce papers, right before Christmas.

This past December, the family home was sold, the only home her children have known, at a break even price.... Still waiting on disability, she was forced to move into a small rental with her belongings and two children.

Which brings me to today.... Disability is still "processing" and she is now being evicted from the rental she and her children share, the second place they have had to call home. Janelle would gladly move out to state with her children to be with her family and get the support she needs, but due to divorce decree, she is unable to...

We are trying to raise the back rent Janelle owes by Friday, prior to her eviction, as well as the next months' rent, to help keep her and her kids in their rental, while the governmental wheels of disability continue to roll slowly....

Unfortunately, Mason and Lolas' Dad refuses to help her out, and she literally does not know what else to do. She has contacted multiple agencies such as United Way, Good Shephard Collation, and CARE of Southeast Michigan, but their wheels move slowly too, and said they would not have any help for her by Friday.  She has put off asking for help, due to the reassurace that her disability is "almost ready", meanwhile the back rent, fees, and court fees have multiplied. She wants to make good on her debt, and pay her landlord what is due to them, for providing her a safe home for her and her children!

Any amount would help, just to keep them on their feet until her regular income comes in.

Thank you for taking the time to read this....❤️
