I'm Søren Lausten-Hansen, I'm fundrasing for the family of Mohiy Sharif from Palestine, Gaza. They are a family of father, mother and three children. They have lost all sources of income. Their home has been destroyed completely by Israelic bombing. They were displaced several times.

Every day is a challenge for them. Food, some water for drinking and materials for personal hygiene is only achieved with great difficulty. They are suffering greatly from living in worn-out tents and suffering from extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter.

First of all they lack economic means for proper food, daily necessities, clothes, medical care for the small child, transport of tent and stuff every time displacement is ordered etc.

My name is Mohiy Sharif from Gaza, Palestine . I am 29 years old. I was born and raised in Gaza City, where I was raised to love my homeland, sacrifice, and redeem myself for Palestine.

I am married and have an 8-year-old son, Amir, a 7-year-old daughter, Reina, and a 2-year-old daughter, Rose. We were living the best times of our lives in the safety of our home, but in the blink of an eye, our lives changed and were turned upside down with the start of the Israeli war on Gaza. Our home was subsequently bombed, completely destroying it.

My daughter, Rose, suffers from a health crisis, suffering from difficulty breathing and movement. There is no treatment available in Gaza for her condition, requiring her to travel outside of Gaza for treatment.

My children were top students in their schools.

Each of my children had a different dream. Amir wanted to be an engineer, Reina wanted to be a doctor, and my wife also had dreams of owning a restaurant. I had one dream: to see my family happy and living in safety and security.

But this devastating war came and made no distinction between young and old. It destroyed all our dreams. My children lost their schools and their friends. We were deprived of food and clean drinking water. We were denied the right to medical treatment and treated ourselves with herbs because we could not afford to go to the hospital. We lived every day as if it were our last due to the intensity of the bombing, destruction, and displacement.

We were displaced repeatedly to several areas within the Gaza Strip, starting with the Maghazi camp, then the city of Khan Yunis, and then to Rafah, the far south of Rafah. There, the displacement camp where we were staying was attacked by the Israeli army, and our tent was destroyed again. We were forced to look for another place to stay. As you know, there is no safe place in Gaza. The crossings were closed, and we lived through the most difficult times with no food, water, or medicine entering. We experienced famine in its fullest detail.

Every day was a challenge for us to provide food for our children and some water for drinking and personal hygiene, but this was achieved with great difficulty. Now we are suffering greatly from living in dilapidated and worn-out tents, where we suffer from extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter. Life inside a tent has become a nightmare, with nothing to protect you from the shelling, rain, or intense heat.

Our dream today is to find a safe place to live and start our lives anew. I hope you will all help me and my family find the right place where we can achieve our basic rights of safe living and access to medical treatment and education for my children.
