Please Help Feed Belize

Belize has been hard hit by COVID-19, not by the number of cases, but by a fragile health care system that is easily overwhelmed.  In an effort to contain the spread, the Government of Belize has issued some very harsh restrictions on movement.  As a result, many who were getting by before as housekeepers and yardmen are now unable to provide even the most basic food supplies for their families and there are no welfare programs to turn to.   Rice, beans, flour and eggs are staples.  This appeal is for funds to purchase the most needed items and if successful we may be able to add items such as baby formula and diapers.  Your donation will help hundreds of families get through these most difficult times. The need is URGENT and one US dollar will yield two Belize dollars so even the most modest donations will help immeasurably.  Thank You!
