Hi my name is Brandon Hoff,

Right now our family is in desperate need of help.

On 9/14/23 the company I was working for laid me off. I started making phone calls to find work. However, on 9/16/23 my wife, mother of our 2 wonderful children had to go to the Emergency Room due to stomach pains that had lasted for a few days.

The next day she was in ICU and they determined it was Pancreatitis. Then one day later she was in an induced coma and has had tubes and machines keeping her breathing and alive since then. There have been complications, but she is doing a bit better, but she is still sedated and it's going to be a long slow process before she'll be out of the woods, maybe a few weeks or even months. I am so grateful for the amazing doctors and nurses making sure she is alright and as comfortable as possible. I know she is going to get through this with time, but any thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

I now see that me getting let go at work was a hidden blessing, since now I have to be home to take care of the kids and take my daughter to and from school, as my wife used to do as a stay at home mother.

So now I am trying to raise funds to keep us from getting evicted. I haven't even started getting unemployment yet, and there is a lot of paperwork and hoops to jump through for rental assistance. I am actively trying to get assistance from the government, but that takes a lot of paperwork and time.

I don't want to get evicted and become homeless with our kids while I am unable to return to work. I don't want my wife to get out of the hospital only to find that we have nowhere to live.

I am asking for any help from anyone that is able to help. Any little bit can help. We would be deeply moved and incredibly thankful to anyone who can help us from ending up homeless during this very tough time in our lives.
