Please help Dane Garnon

Dane Garnon, owner of Tribe Fitness Studio Ulladulla, has helped countless people over the years..... and now Dane needs OUR help

On Friday, 25th August, Dane was air lifted to RPA hospital, where he currently is on life support and in an induced coma. Dane contracted pneumonia, which resulted in toxic shock syndrome. He is very sick and fighting for his life but he is in the best of care, with some of the best doctors looking after him. He will be likely in a coma for 3 weeks and hospital for months so this is just the start of a very long journey for him.

Dane and his family need our financial support at this time. If you can, please donate to assist Dane with medical bills and any ongoing costs during his recovery.

9/9-UPDATE FROM JADE - 

It’s with great relief that I can update you all that after 2 weeks in a coma Dane is awake. He currently is breathing on his own, no longer needing the ecmo machine. He still is on kidney dialysis and will continue to do so for a bit while longer yet. Dane has fought extremely hard and with the help of the amazing medical staff and quick actions by the ICU team Dane will start on his next journey of recovery and is no longer fighting for his life. He still is unaware of what has happened and is still recovering from toxicity from the large amount of drugs he’s been given, being in a coma’s and the toxic shock syndrome. He has a long road, physically and mentally to get him fully recovered and home, but after I was called by medical staff to bring my kids to the hospital to say good bye to Dane, because they didn’t know if he’d make it - this is just incredible! I can’t express in words the kindness, generosity, support and love I have received from our loved ones, friends and community. It’s overwhelming and all I can say is I’m so grateful. You have helped my family in one of our darkest times, you’ve allowed us to focus on Dane. I don’t know how I will ever repay your kindness but from the bottom of my heart - Thank you
