My name is Preston Kapp, and I’m trying to help my good friends, Emmanuel Ekeesit and his wife Patricia. They need help getting the care they need for their baby girl Ruvarashe, who’s in the NICU in Uganda.
Patricia gave birth to twins on Wednesday, August 25th at a hospital in Kampala, Uganda. She had a baby boy, Sivuyile, and a baby girl, Ruvarashe. Sivuyile is Xhosa for “We are happy” and Ruvarashe is Shona for “God’s flower”. Both very fitting names!
They were both born with some complications that needed extra care. The baby boy, Sivuyile, has recovered fairly well. However, their baby girl, Ruvarashe, has been in the NICU since she was born. Emmanuel and Patricia have insurance that covers up to 3 days in the NICU, and the rest is out of pocket. As you can imagine, the cost is very high to keep her there.
As any parent knows, they just want what’s best for their new babies. The stress of all of this, mixed with a recovering mom, and an Economy also effected by COVID, these new parents could use any help they can get! Every donation will 100% go to helping this new family pay for medical bills and help get their babies home, healthy and happy!
Thank you!!
