Hi, I'm Catherine, I started Ask Katie which is a hygiene bank based at Grove Farm Community Centre in Grove Farm, Nuneaton a couple of years ago after being in food and hygiene poverty myself during the Covid lockdown. I realised there was a need for some kind of project that supported familes and individuals that were struggling to access hygiene and period products due to the rising cost of living. The hygiene products that were distributed by foodbanks often didn't meet the on going needs of individuals particularly if a family member has particular skin conditions, sensory needs or age. We are partnered with Beauty Banks and Hey Girls! and we receive many donations of products from the local community, however we also need funding to help pay for products and ongoing administration costs. £1 will pay for an item such as shower gel or baby shampoo, £5 will pay for a pack of nappies . So please, even £1 will go towards helping somone. Thank you xxx
