Hi, my name is Eden, and I am a family friend of Renee Iron Hawk, a Lakota elder living on the Cheyenne River reservation currently struggling with paying for a surgery to save her vision. Despite having health insurance with the IHS, they have refused to cover this surgery and are expecting her to pay out of pocket.
