Please help a mother & daughter in need!

Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I am looking to help a remarkable woman + daughter who will need help in the coming months.

 

Jeanette’s daughter Allison first went to the Emergency Room on April 30th. After a few days, she was diagnosed with Diabetes and Jeanette began learning the in’s and out’s of Allison’s daily shots, routine, and needs that go into managing her Diabetes. Unfortunately, she realized she could not rely on her current babysitter to administer these shots and had to adjust her availability at work, as she only had childcare in the form of school, Monday thru Friday. She cannot afford childcare that can provide medical assistance to administer these shots + monitor Allison’s health. Therefore, Jeanette will have no one to watch Allison during the summer months when she is out of school, leaving her unable to work beginning June 10th.

 

While she has explored a multitude of options before her having to take time off of work, but Jeanette also wants to put Allison's health first while they figure out this next step in life together. While she has been planning and saving as much as possible to prepare for this time away, her income has already been impacted and a month isn’t enough time to prepare for an emergency situation such as this.

 

Jeanette is a single mother and the most hard-working, kind-hearted, and dedicated individual to her child, family, and place of work she calls her second home. She is family. If anyone deserves assistance in this time of need, it is her. Allison is also a bright light and doesn't understand why the sudden change in her routine or suddenly just her & mom at home all the time. 

 

While we are hopeful that Allison will also be approved for an automated insulin pump in the coming months to help open the door for other childcare options, I am asking for all the help now to support these two lovely humans in the meantime!!
