Friends, I’ve started this Go Fund Me to help a friend who’s fallen on hard times, after having struggled physically and emotionally all of her life, and now is in dire financial need for the next year to subsidize not being able to work at her business due to an unfortunate event.  A little background: Jen was sexually abused as a child from a very young age. suffered, but persevered.  Upon graduating high school, she enlisted in the army, and served as a military police.  When she separated, she became a Deputy Sheriff with the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Department.  Upon retiring, she married into a physically and verbally abusive relationship, all while still suffering PTSD from her childhood.  After recently splitting with her ex, she opened her own business in Prince Frederick.  Three weeks ago she was involved in an unfortunate incident because the darkness had finally overwhelmed her, but resulted in her inability to conduct business, which she used her life’s saving to invest in.  She’s a fighter, but she’s also fragile.  She’s a kind, intelligent, kindred spirit, who’s been battling the demons since she can remember, and still refuses to ask for financial help.  That’s why I’m doing this.  If you can donate any amount to keep her on her feet until she can return to her business, even the smallest amount, will be so greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
