Please help a mother in need

Hi my name is Dani and I’m trying to raise funds for my mum who is in need of a car as the one that she had no longer works.

For those of you who know her she has been a foster carer for 14 years and currently has four children from the ages of 7-14 in her care. She has been a huge help to the community and has always gone above and beyond to help others in need when they are struggling.

In February of this year she lost her youngest son due to health issues and not long after this huge loss her car decided to stop working all together leaving her with no car for ten months.

My other brother has been trying to fix it however he doesn’t know much about cars and due to the cost of living funds are tight which has delayed the process of fixing the car.

Unfortunately my brother was admitted to ICU on Christmas Eve and there are no signs of him coming out of hospital anytime soon. As you can imagine the stress of now having your remaining son in ICU after loosing your other son in the same year is extremely overwhelming and heartbreaking.

Due to having no car she has been limited to where she goes, having four young foster children makes it difficult on public transport as they have extra needs so transportation is harder. Now with my brother being in ICU she needs transportation more then ever to go and visit him and then when he gets out of ICU she will be able to transport him to doctors appointments easier with a car of her own.

I am hoping to raise enough funds to be able to purchase a second hand car from a dealership, with online research a decent second hand car can cost around $5,000.

I am hoping that purchasing a car for my mum will make her life that little bit easier and transportation will be one less thing that she needs to worry about.
