A loving family in our community is going through an unimaginably difficult time. Their child has been struggling deeply with their mental health and, just a few weeks ago, attempted to take their own life. Thankfully, they are still with us — but the road to recovery is long and requires urgent, ongoing support.

The family is currently on the CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) waiting list, but as many know, the waiting times are heartbreakingly long. Their child simply cannot wait. In desperation, they’ve turned to private counselling to ensure their child gets the help they need right now — before it’s too late.

However, the cost of weekly therapy sessions is placing a huge financial strain on the family. They are doing everything they can to keep this vital support going, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to afford.

We are reaching out to ask for help. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward funding private counselling sessions and any other mental health support this child needs. Your generosity could quite literally save a life and give this young person the chance to heal, rebuild hope, and see a brighter future.
