PLEASE GIVE MY ORPHANED NIECES A FUTURE
With permission and encouragement from my Bishop, Most Reverend Albert LeGatt, I am Father Peter Le Van Ngu, also known as Fr. Peter Le, a priest of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Boniface (Winnipeg)- Manitoba- Canada. I am currently the pastor of two parishes of St. Claude and St. Denis- Haywood, in rural Manitoba. I would like to share with you a series of tragic events that has happened to my family recently.
One year ago, my older brother Phe-ro Le Van Nhan died in a traffic accident. It was a big loss for us, because he was an influential person in our family. On November 24, 2020, I received more devastating news from my family in Vietnam. My sister-in-law has also been killed in a traffic accident. She was driving her scooter, a common mode of transportation in Vietnam, accompanied by her daughter, when they were struck head on by a truck. Catarina Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh was killed instantly, and her daughter severely injured, in critical condition in a hospital. Both parents are gone forever leaving behind 4 young daughters, now orphans.
1, Le Thi Thuy Hoa, 16
2, Le Thi Cam Nhung, 9 (hospitalized)
3, Le Thi Anh Duong, 5
4, Le Thi Thuy Hang, 2 years old.
The whole family is suffering from these tragic events. Please keep us in your prayers! Pray that my parents who are now 75 and 70 might be sustained in caring for my nieces. Please pray for the repose of the soul of my sister-in-law Catarina and a MIRACLE for my dear niece in the hospital right now. May God give us strength to overcome these challenges!
More than ever, we need your prayers and support. We need to cover the funeral costs for the mother and the medical expenses for the hospitalized daughter, school fees, clothes and other necessities to raise these orphans now and in the future. Relying on your love and your generosity, I would like to receive your donations to GIVE MY ORPHANED NIECES A FUTURE. This is the most practical way to support our family during these difficult times.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU everyone for your support. I will keep you all in my prayers, my benefactresses/ benefactors. May the Lord bless you and reward you abundantly for your generosity!
I would like to ask you to do a favor for me, in your kindness, please share this with your friends and your loved ones. If more people know of this worthy cause, I hope that there will be more prayers and donations for these orphaned girls.
With love and gratitude,
