Hello, my name is Lindsay and I am fundraising on behalf my sister-in-law, Amanda, and her three children Elijah (8), Kaleb (11) and Anthony (16); the two youngest of which have autism.
On April 5, 2022, my brother, David Saldana, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. With this loss, my family is now working on finding their new normal and trying to stay afloat with upcoming financial responsibilities. These changes also include a move from their home of 13 years (due to the owner recently deciding on selling the property) to a new location yet to be determined that must take place by the end of June.
Amanda and David have been together for just shy of 10 years; they reconnected in adulthood after first meeting one another in middle school. David meant and still means everything to Amanda and the boys and their world has been turned upside down in one too many ways.
The two youngest children will continue to have recurring autism expenses such as occupational and speech therapies. The eldest child is currently a sophomore in high school and is trying to obtain his driver’s license. Amanda has been at her current workplace for almost 16 years. She has been out of work for several weeks and will be out of work for at least another month.

Although my sister-in-law would never ask for a handout, I know that getting back on her feet is going to take time and induce higher stress. I wanted to be able to set up something for her that will help ease her struggles even in the slightest.
With moving costs as well as the loss of a partner, expenses will begin to build rapidly for items including bills, food, clothing, autism expenses and everyday necessities. I know anything that anyone is willing to contribute will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much in advance!
