Hi, my name is Robert and I will be 75 at the end of January. Like you and others I have worked hard my entire life, starting at the age if 7 in England. Life has been hard but I have always had the strength to fight through and push on until a few years ago when I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I live with it now as part of my normal existence, then, 8 months ago my doctor told me I had a very low hemoglobin count so, after multiple tests I found out I had leukemia. 10 years ago i brought my wife and her 3 adult children to Canada which cost me a lot of money but as I was working it was not an issue. The onset of the Leukemia has really drained me so much I have no energy to work. The reason I am asking for help is a short term help situation for me so we can re-arrange our lives, move to another house costing less money to operate. I never thought I would ever find myself in this situation but here I am, asking for help. So, please help me and my family if you are able and God bless you.

UPDATE on February 10. I just posted 2 photos of my arms where bloodwork was being taken sometimes 2 times a day. This was after spending 14 days in the hospital and having a catheter inserted to help manage fluid levels in my body.

I finally was discharged on Wednesday February 4. I went to see my family doctor on February 5 to get the medical forms completed for 75 th birthday and he told me he would not be recommending I drive any longer due to ill health. I just got my cancellation in the mail today so now I have to give my car back to the bank, cancelled the car insurance. The bank is not exactly being cooperative -- big surprise, all they want is money for their coffers and profits.
