Hi, My name is Shelley and with the help of my friends (Darlene, Lynnette, Lyn, Ali and Pauline) I am raising money to help a Timor lady (Rahelsey) build a sustainable business in her village, so she no longer has to live and work away from her children.

I met Rahelsey while travelling and we have become friends. She is a single mum who works in Bali to provide for her mother and 3 young boys and is a very proud lady. Overtime I have asked her questions about her life and family, and I have decided that I would like to help her build a business so she can live in her village with her family, afford to send her 3 boys to school and buy food and clothes for her family.

Rahelsey's village is 2 hours from the City of Atambua where they have to travel to buy rice and other essentials. She would like to set up a store in her village selling rice and essentials, so they no longer have to travel to the city to purchase items. This store will be the only one in her village!

I want to also say the Rahelsey has never asked me for any money, and this is something I am doing to help change a family's life. If you could spare $5 or more it would mean a lot to this family, and put a smile on my face xx
