Please Donate to help my Niece, Nephew, & Family!

It’s with very heavy hearts that we set up this page and I write this post. On January 23rd, 2023 my youngest sister Jessica passed away at the age of 42. She struggled for a long time with Alcohol and drug addiction. This is an absolutely tragic story and such a waste of one’s life. Two of her children left behind are her 11 yr old Daughter (Brynn), and her 9 yr old son (Max), who is devastated and now left without their mother.

My Mother and Stepfather, George and Shirley Martin are stepping in and are trying to gain full custody of Max and Brynn. They have an uphill battle ahead of them because my sister was tied to the State of NY through welfare assistance. Child protective services and DSS have been a constant in their lives for a very long time, and we as a family mean to break that cycle and provide these children with a structured and normal quality of life that they have essentially never known.

George and Shirley are taking this on in their golden years, as they are both seniors, retired, and live on a fixed income. We are asking if family and friends can donate to help provide so that these children can be taken care of. We are all committed as a family to ensuring that they get a fresh start in life.
