Please donate to help raise funds for Lindsay Lodge Hospice
My name is Kevin Barrowcliffe and 3 years ago I was diagnosed with bone on bone arthritis in both hips. I could not walk without crutches. I have now had both hips replaced and fought my way back to fitness. I can now enjoy my hobby again which is hiking in the beautiful countryside, lakes and mountains.I will soon be doing a 25 mile walk along the Viking Way for Lindsay Lodge Hospice. This is part of my training and a warm up to the main event. In April I will attempt the 96 mile West Highland Way, a hiking trail along Loch Lomond and through the Scottish Highlands from Milngavie to Fort William. I will attempt to do the 96 miles in 6 days, wild camping along the way.
I want to give something back to the community so I am raising money in aid of Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice is a hospice based in Scunthorpe which cares for adults across North Lincolnshire who have illnesses which are no longer curable. They improve the quality of life of patients by offering specialist care which is holistic and individually tailored. This care is free of charge and therefore they rely on funds raised in the community. Please donate. Every penny helps.
