Merited DIY Jib Park

My name is Dominick Delfino, I am a 35 year old snowboarder currently living in Jackson Wyoming. Struggling with mental health and substance abuse as long as I could remember. From the bottom of my heart and soul I truly understand the positive impact board sports has on people like myself.

One who has the mental capacity to master such a skill like freestyle snowboarding or skiing, it’s probably the best thing for the individual. All I know is when I was snowboarding or skateboarding I certainly wasn’t getting myself in trouble.

I'm starting a non profit called Merited DIY Shred Club where we will build terrain park features and set them up in public spaces. These rails/ jibs will be in a public accessible place for anyone to use.

I will be building our first two rail features 11/16/24 with a metal fabricator Brendan from Mikes welding. All they are charging me for is the two separate 2 in x 2 in 20ft long pieces of steel, costing 332$. The welder is even donating his time to make the rail with me. We will start with building two 15 foot long rails at 2 feet high.

I would love to have several different features set up in a public accessible space where anyone can hike and enjoy them at anytime.
