Hi, my name is Melissa and I am fundraising for my dear friend Shannon. Shannon is a wife and mother of three. She has also been battling cancer (stage four Squamous cell carcinoma) for the last three years. As you can imagine, the expenses have been piling up. Shannon’s husband, Sloane, is self employed. Sloane has taken a substantial amount of time off work this past year to care for the three children and all of Shannon’s needs. The family's out of pocket expenses have increased a great deal, including most of Shannon’s medications that are not covered by her insurance.

This fundraising is so important to me because I believe no family suffering from cancer should have to worry about finances at the same time.

All money donated will go towards the Geary family to help with medical bills and out of pocket medical expenses.
