Matthew Stoeckel is a loving father of 3 children, Taylor (19), Alexis (19) and Brayden (11), and husband of Kristina Stoeckel.

Matthew Stoeckel is loved by many due to his generosity, sincerity, kindness, dedication and loyalty to his family and friends. He is extremely hard working and always willing to help out ANYONE in need.

Now, we are asking you to help Matt and his family get through this tragedy that has fallen upon them.

On Wednesday, October 26th, Matthew expected a typical day at work. He arrived at his employer's property and was asked to remove a tree hindering the work environment. Matthew cut into the tree with a chainsaw causing the tree to explode unexpectedly, falling on top of him. Matthew was literally crushed and trapped under the tree. His coworkers panicked and acted quickly to free Matt as he gasped for air and was in and out of consciousness. He could not be medevacked due to the foggy conditions. Thus, he was transported via ambulance to Morristown Hospital. To date, Matthew has undergone three surgeries and will need additional surgeries. His confirmed injuries include a broken back, shattered left ankle, badly broken right arm, broken right leg, three broken ribs, and a punctured lung. Ongoing tests are in process to determine other injuries related to the accident, including bladder complications. Matt is enduring tremendous pain and requires around-the-clock care. He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him.

Matthew is the sole provider for his family and will not be able to work indefinitely. Matthew's line of work only paid upon job completion. His family is in great need of financial support to help them through this time of uncertainty.
