Please consider helping Jochanan replace some stolen goods

Hi, my name is Denis, I am Jochanan's father. On the afternoon of Jan 28, my son Jochanan was working his waiting job at Boston Pizza Southport in Calgary, AB when a young male broke into their back room, rifled through coats and among the loose items stolen, quickly grabbed his keys and stole his 2009 VW GTI from the parking lot of the restaurant.

Police and insurance were both called. Neither very helpful.

Sadly, liability without theft gave him his first tough lesson. "There's nothing we can do".

He paid cash for his first set of wheels (and freedom) that he earned from jobs he had been doing from the age of 14.

Well, Im his Dad and ,of course, I'll be helping with the replacement of the car. The other tough lesson was coming straight from the ski hill with his gear in the car while he worked his shift. I'm looking to help him with a few recovery costs of his snowboard, boots, helmet, goggles, etc. He's currently saving for a new ride and the replacement of these items....which he loved.

Our kids work hard and incidents like this dont help in deterring them from wanting to go earn a little money...life lessons? He's had quite a few "you should have done this" or "I dont mean to be rude but..." Im more in the mindest that it should have never happened in the first place. He's a trusting and happy kid but now...Instead, of feeling supported, he's very down and angry. I understand that and just hope to get a little push toward some positivity for the young man in help replacing his things. Thanks for considering donating and sharing!
