Hello dear friends and family,

Quite a few of you may know parts of my story as this is a somewhat familiar place we are in at the moment. The past seven years may be described by the 6 of us (Adrian, Kay, Josiah, Micah, Jeremiah, and Adrianna) as the worst years of our lives. For me personally, I have often felt I was stumbling around in the pitch dark, my feet slogging through thick mud and having to remind myself to take the next breath, and the next breath… I’ve lost so much in the last 7 years you can’t even imagine. We had about 7 months of wonderful peace after I got back from my treatment stay at The Charis House, an eating disorder treatment facility. Adrian said he had never seen me that well in all the time he had known me. I found God, or rather he found me, and I was so cared for and loved. But life… it has a way of well happening again and again. I feel ashamed to say this is the 5th time I will be leaving Adrian and my 4 children to go get treatment for this eating disorder that has nearly succeeded in killing me. I wish I could explain the whole thing and there’s so very much I am not sharing though I want to fully share my story one day—my fight and journey through severe depression, anxiety, PTSD, and anorexia. I feel alone though I know I am not. Deep breath… so why am I sharing all of this right now?

I am a nurse and recently lost my job due to health issues (mental and physical) and am simply too sick to work at this time. I leave for treatment sometime in the next week. I’m asking for help from all of you. We really need help with groceries and keeping our house. If you feel led or desire to help it would be so greatly appreciated. It’s so so so hard asking for help. We would also appreciate continued prayers and your healing thoughts.
