Hi everyone! My name is georgie and I am an 18 year old male who love playing golf. I have set a challenge for myself to play 9 holes at 30+ different golf courses in Tasmania! I believe I can achieve this goal within 3 months, I want to donate money towards the Tasmanian cancer council in hope that one day we can find a cure for cancer. My pop (Graeme Purdon) has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. My pop has been one of my biggest role models my whole life. He’s shown me that you can over come anything in life and that hard work does pay off. My pop is the first person to put a club in my hands and has always cheered me on whether it’s basketball golf and anything else I put my mind to. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for my pop. My goal is to raise $3000 by the end of the 3 months and finish 30 or more different golf courses in that time.
