Hi,

We are David Neeke and Godriver Sindayigaya, two passionate individuals who together have formed Play & Dance Tanzania. David Neeke is a Tanzanian volleyball player and the founder of local Play Positive Academy based in Mwanza. It was founded in 2019 for the purpose of helping children between the age 10-18 to provide growth in sports and education.

I am Godriver, born in Tanzania, but raised in Norway. I am a creative freelancer passionate about social impact through cultural activities. I have been working with kids and youths in Norway through the Norwegian Red Cross, Oslo Kommune and other local projects, utilising dance and sports as a tool.

Dance and sports promote both physical and mental health benefits. With this project we aim to nurture, empower and inspire the kids and youths. Through this camp they are exposed to sports and dance, a joyful experience, teamwork and a safe community.

We organised our first camp in May 2023. With some help and support, and usage of personal resources, it was successful. We are now organising camp 2024 and are dependent on support through donations. Money raised goes directly towards the cost of the camp:
