Plastic pollution revolution.

Did you know that almost every bit of plastic ever produced still exists today?
That's about 8.3 BILLION metric tons of plastic that are somewhere in our environment, we are now producing almost 400 million tonnes of new plastic each year and unfortunately, the production of plastic isn't slowing down.

Environmental benefits aside, recycling plastic is actually a lot easier and cheaper than producing new plastic but according to, National Geographics, "A whopping 91% of plastic produced is NOT recycled" and considering how easy it is to recycle, it got me asking the question, why don't we recycle more?

The truth is, although plastic is washing up in the most remote beaches in the world and even being found in the deepest parts of the ocean, plastic is an incredible product that has dramatically improved all of our lives in many ways but unless we start to change the way we produce and recycle it, it could also become one of the biggest threats to our existence.

This project is just the kickoff point for what we aim to be a never-ending production line of eco-friendly, micro-businesses, empowering individuals and communities to take back control of the plastic disaster that we are facing today whilst also improving community spirit and economies all over the world.

The funds raised will go towards buying the first shipping container, building the machines needed to recycle plastics and to launch the first station in a small town on the north coast of Colombia where we already have so much community support for the idea and even a block of land offered to place it.

The initial goal was to have the first container up and running before the end of 2020, and although Covid-19 has complicated things and put a question mark over just about everything, we feel confident that we can still make that happen so we're going for it anyway!

This project won't only potentially help individuals and communities all over the world but will put smiles on the faces of less fortunate children whilst educating them about how they can change the future for the better, oh and it goes without saying that it isn't just humans that will benefit from a plastic-free environment, according to, over 1 million marine animals (including mammals, fish, sharks, turtles, and birds) are killed each year due to plastic debris in the ocean, and that is just in the ocean!

We are a small team but are extremely passionate about this project and promise to make you proud, so please donate what you can to help us reach our goal and then follow us on social media to see what you've helped create.

Every little bit counts and once the first container is built, we really look forward to sharing our success and results with you as we look to build the next one, hopefully without having to do a GoFundMe :) lol

Thank you soooo much in advance from all of us! You have no idea how passionate we are about this and how grateful we are for anyone that can contribute financially or morally by sharing this campaign amongst your networks.

More than ever we need ethical, environmentally friendly businesses! Thanks again.

Kindest regards
Tom, and the Wasteless World Team.
