Planting Trees in Memory of Nairie

In memory of Nairie Mirzayan-Aslanyan, a group of her friends have decided to launch this campaign to help plant trees in Artsakh and Armenia.
Through the Armenia Tree Project, trees will be planted around the ARS Soseh Kindergarten in Stepanakert, as well as the village of Artik, near Gyumri, Armenia.
Trees help sustain life by absorbing CO2, creating oxygen, providing shade, protecting soil from erosion, safeguarding ground water, and guarding biodiversity. The trees that will be planted in Nairie's name will live on for centuries, providing life for generations to come.
Nairie Mirzayan-Aslanyan passed away on October 27, 2018 from a long-fought illness. She touched the lives of so many -- now these trees will do the same.
