Plant trees in Somalia

Who and why why I am fundraising?

We are a community led initiative called Badbaado Degaan (Save the Environment) that wants to encourage planting trees all over Somalia.

Our vision is to build tree
nurseries all over Somalia.

Planting trees will benefit people, climate, improve soil quality.

Also we want to raise awaireness so that the community will stop cutting trees for charcoal.

The money raised  will be used for a
nursurey in Wisil, Galmudug Region of
Somalia, which in return will provide
trees to the whole Region. We need
money for buying trees, payement of Salary for one person, and transportation and maintenance.


The support will mean that Somalia will get a community led/Voluntery tree Nursery who will provide for - in short term - the region and - in the long term - the whole country.
