More Trees Campaign
Welcome to the More Trees Campaign! Trees are true friends of the planet. Not only do they purify the air, but also add to the beauty and well-being in our lives. For this we are so excited to invite you along this journey...
What, when, where?
Each donation will help to plant a tree that creates a healthier environment and brings joy to people for decades to come! During the 2020 to 2021 planting season, we will plant 500+ new urban trees in located in central London.

Who are we and where do donations go?
We are Peter, Valentina and Padideh, 3 friends who met at the London School of Self-Awareness (LSSA). Together we decided to set up a fundraiser to raise money for LSSA's activities (see below) and to make a positive impact on our local community at the moment we need it most! LSSA will receive a portion of the funds raised.
To achieve our goal for we partnered with The Conservation Volunteers (TCV), where Sir David Attenborough serves as a Vice President. They have been instrumental in helping make this campaign happen. A portion of the funds raised will go to TCV for securing planting permissions, insurance, COVID compliance and many other aspects associated with tree planting and aftercare. We are also partnered with GoneWest who will help us for the 2021 planting.
We have about 20 donors who have elected to join us on tree planting day and so we will have plenty of hands to plant the trees! Places to join us on tree planting day are now fully booked due to COVID restrictions.
Why?
LSSA's mission is to give people the opportunity to understand their life is in their hands through online and in-person events on meditation and self-awareness. We recognise the profound link between nature, clean air and our ability to achieve a positive inner state. Our inner environment (body, emotions and thoughts) and the outer environment are absolutely interconnected. This is why planting trees where we live and work is critical to having more inner stability and an overall improved quality of daily life.
