The Plant Nursery Project- Siargao Island

The Philippines is currently under quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsistence farming can supplement household food supplies from loss of jobs/income, but the cost and availability of seeds is a major issue. To strengthen food security in Siargao Island, we have partnered with lokal.lab to set up a plant nursery. In just one month of operation, we have donated over 1,800 vegetable seedlings to more than 100 households. We have the capacity to do more but need your help to plant more seeds and hire more gardeners.  Any donation is welcome and greatly appreciated!
