IVF unsuccessful

My fiancé and I had moved to California after college to start our life. Shortly after moving here I got a job at a Physical Therapy office. There I met my "manager" Melissa. Instantly her and I clicked. We had the same views on life and all in all got along well. Quickly we got to know each other pretty quick. Her pride and joys in life were her husband Luke and her cat she called "Bing Kitty."

Melissa and Luke had been married for 10 years. Luke is a Marine who had served our country at war. I learned through her that in a heart beat he would go right back out there. Fortunately, he wasn't going anywhere for a little bit. Now was the time, time to start their family. They were in a good place in life where a little Hudson would be perfect. Unlike the rest of us, it wasn't that easy for them, after years of trying naturally thinking something's gotta give they turned to a Medical doctor. First thought they had, something was wrong with her. After serious of test everything came back normal. Luke underwent a few surgeries in hopes that the problem would be fix. Trying and trying, nothing was happening. after seeing a specialist it was then they got the news that they would need to go through IVF. After days of calling on referrals to get approved, it finally got approved. Melissa wasted NO time calling the doctors they referred her too. After several "we didn't get a referral sent to the office yet," Melissa was losing hope. Trying to keep her head straight she fought and fought. her phone rang, it was FINALLY the IVF doctors. Yet again she had hit another road block, "we aren't accepting new patients!!"

Now she really needed to think about this because that was the only office that would accept her insurance, she had to make a decision. That she did, took out a loan so that she can start the IVF somewhere else. After tests, blood work, ultra sounds, samples, etc.. Things were finally looking up.

The day of the transfer was finally here. The office waited patiently for a thumbs up text. Hours had gone by and nothing. Some of us reached out and got a devastating response, the eggs they used were not able to be transferred. In shock, her and Luke needed to go home and make a decision. Do they try again? Can she handle going through all the test again? Can she do it emotionally? Answer was "let's do it one more time."

Another loan needed to be taken out of a total of $25,000. She started the process again. All the test and ultrasounds and medicines for another round. Emotionally exhausted but not giving up. Things were finally looking up for this couple. The eggs were producing nicely, genetic testing was done and before we knew it the day was here. Going into that office I'm sure nervous and expecting the worse was how Melissa felt. It was only understandable. Hours past us again at the office. Once again I reached out, this time we got the news, they implanted a baby luke(a boy). A few weeks past and her hcg levels were doubling by the day it felt like. Her first ultrasound approaching she was getting so excited. She was eating right, making sure she was doing everything she was supposed to to carry her baby boy.

The day was here, we all said our prayers and patiently waited til we heard from her. Again, hours and hours go by. She must've been too excited to tell us...

We wish that were the case...

Yet another IVF procedure has failed. Her little boy has gone to heaven. This couple has done everything by the books. Such an incredible couple whose path didn't go in the direction they wanted.

$25,000 in the hole and still no baby, this was the absolute hardest thing they've ever had to deal with. So I am reaching out to help this couple out to let them grieve and not have to worry for a few months on medical bills and loans. Please anything will help these two. I they need a breather and time to mourn without worry about the next medical bill coming.

Thank you in advanced for love and support of Luke and Melissa
