Brenda’s family has overcome incredible challenges to build a life here in New Jersey. After fleeing gang violence in Honduras, they’ve worked tirelessly to create a safe and loving home for their children, but they still face significant obstacles in achieving stability.

Brenda lives and works in the community, where she is deeply loved and appreciated. Her daughters, Anyelid and Yisel, are the caregivers for the youngest in their family. Josue is a high school student who excels in soccer, and lacrosse. Nathaly, who recently celebrated her Quinceanera, is also in school and dreams of becoming a dancer. Despite their hard work and determination, finding a home of their own has remained just out of reach.
