Help support Lucas

My name is Tommy Higgins, and I’m a high school junior. I participate in an organization called The Street Chaplaincy, which provides meals to those in need and that lack housing. I was recently introduced to Lucas, who is a member of our community in need.

Lucas Orwa is a kind, 71-year-old man currently living in San Rafael. He immigrated to the United States from Kenya in 1978, arriving in the Bay Area. Lucas worked in retail for many years until he retired. He has lived in his apartment in San Rafael for over 20 years, but recent problems have put his home in jeopardy. He is a wonderful painter, with beautiful pieces covering his room. He is also a longtime San Francisco Giants fan! Our goal is to raise $1,400 for Lucas so he is able to successfully stay in his home. I will be offering free tennis lessons and racket stringing as a part of this effort to raise $1,400 for Lucas.
