Jordan's Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Jordan Bowbeer and I am a member of Boy Scout Troop 15 of Stamford, Connecticut. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project and will be constructing a GaGa Ball pit at a local summer camp serving a mixed income population. GaGa Ball is a fun and active sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. I have been playing GaGa Ball at my troop's summer camp since I first began attending it 7 years ago, and it quickly became one of my favorite parts about camp. Now, I want to bring that back to my community and provide kids at this camp with a fun and inclusive game that they can play all summer long.

This project will certainly be challenging, both because of its physically demanding labor aspects such as removing grass and leveling the ground, and because of the leadership I will have to show during the construction process. With your generous donations, I will be able to finance the purchase of lumber and metal brackets required to build the GaGa Ball pit. I plan on completing my project in the early parts of summer so that it is available to the camp for its entire session.
