Help me volunteer with children in Africa

Hello! If you are receiving this link, chances are I know you, and that's why I am reaching out to you.

Not many of you might know, but I am studying Human Rights and International Law at Malmo University. My goal is to one day have my own NGO to reach out to those less privileged, especially women and children.

I have received an invitation from two amazing organizations to volunteer with their children, one teaching English and playing football, the other organization to work in the classroom, empower women and help out in their community; build housing, clean the common areas, help with their crops, etc. One organization is in Kenya, close to Nairobi, and the other one is in Uganda. Although they are in two different countries, to get from one to the other by bus shouldn't be a problem. The problem is... to get to Africa.

As many of you may know, I received a tight grant from the Swedish government to study. And the months I don't; well, I have no income. ( June, July, and August are my 'dry' months)

But I have to get to Africa. This is my dream and my way to help these children. I have a place to stay and the means to pay for my own food/transport. What's missing?

MY WAY TO GET TO AFRICA!

So I am reaching out, to you! The ticket cost is not much, and I am sure I can make it with a little help of each one of my friends.

ANY amount would do! Any 10 euros goes a long way!

I am confident I will reach my goal by the end of May.

Please, take 1 minute to make a small donation ( big ones are welcome too! ) and help me get to Africa.

Ticket receipts, bank statements, and any other relevant proof of how the funds will be used will be fully disclosed.

I am only asking for help to buy the ticket, nothing else. I have a set goal and will not request any more funds once I can buy the ticket!

Olá! Se você está recebendo este link, é provável que eu te conheço e é por isso que estou entrando em contato com você.

Muitos de vocês podem não saber, mas estou estudando Direitos Humanos e Direito Internacional na Universidade de Malmo, Suecia.

Meu objetivo é um dia ter minha própria ONG para alcançar os menos privilegiados, especialmente mulheres e crianças.

Recebi um convite de duas organizações incríveis para ser voluntária com seus filhos, uma ensinando inglês e jogando futebol, a outra organização para trabalhar em sala de aula, capacitar mulheres e ajudar em sua comunidade; construir casas, limpar as áreas comuns, ajudar nas plantações, etc.

Uma organização está no Quênia, perto de Nairóbi, e a outra está em Uganda. Embora estejam em dois países diferentes, ir de um para o outro de ônibus não deve ser um problema. O problema é... chegar à África.

Como muitos de vocês devem saber, recebo uma pequena bolsa de estudo do governo Sueco para estudar. E os meses que não estudo, no verao; bem, eu não tenho renda. ) Junho, Julho e Agosto são meus meses 'secos').

Mas eu tenho que ir para a África. Este é o meu sonho e a minha forma de ajudar estas crianças. Tenho um lugar para ficar e meios para pagar minha própria alimentação/transporte. O que está faltando?

Então, estou estendendo a mão para você! O custo da passagem não é muito caro, e tenho certeza que irei conseguir com uma ajudinha de cada um dos meus amigos.
