Like many small restaurant businesses, Pizzeria Beddia had to temporarily close its doors on March 16, 2020 due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak in order to protect our staff, our guests and the larger community.
Many of our hard working staff live paycheck to paycheck and a closure of this extended timeline will be devastating.
It is my hope that we can give the staff, that brought such joy to the restaurant community and the city of Philadelphia, the financial support they need to weather this storm.
While we are looking into many other means to support each other during this time, we're also calling on you, our community, neighbors, friends and family to help. 100% of the proceeds will go to our staff.
Our financial goal is the total of our payroll for a four week period. Funds will be distributed based on the expressed needs of the staff to cover expenses such as rent, groceries, bills and prescriptions with hopes to stretch them over the time we'll be closed.
