Hello everyone,

A year has passed since Luis' spinal cord injury and he is continuing to make improvements every day. 

He has been participating in a rowing research study for the past 5 months and has made remarkable progress in PT and OT. Although there is a long road to recovery, he is determined to get better every day and we're so proud of him. 

As many of you can imagine, there are still hardships Luis and our family face. One of the hurdles we've been working to overcome is finding accessible transit. Relying on proper transportation has been difficult and lacking in the flexibility we need in order for Luis to do the things he loves. We would like to kindly ask for your help in raising money to purchase a multi-lift and wheelchair trailer for our vehicle. This will give Luis more freedom to travel to and from places and spend quality time with our family on trips this summer.
