Friends of Wavell are raising funds to support the installation of a state-of-the-art 3G sports pitch at The Wavell School.

This exciting development will significantly enhance the delivery of sport and physical education for our students, providing a high-quality, all-weather facility that can be used throughout the year. Beyond the school day, the pitch will also offer a first-class venue for local clubs and community groups.

The new 3G pitch will play a key role in supporting grassroots football across all age groups, promoting participation in Girls’ and Women’s as well as Boys’ and Men’s football.

As part of this project, the school is keen to build strong partnerships with local clubs and organisations to help grow and develop football within the wider community.

Funds raised will directly contribute to bringing this transformative facility to life and creating lasting opportunities for both our students and the local community.
