Charity Quilts
Pins and Pine Needles Quilt Guild is very active in the community and we often are asked to provide quilts and other items to local charities. This year, our members did not disappoint and have completed hundreds of charity quilts to support the community, greater Alberta area and beyond. Most recently, guild members have created 59 Scrub wash bags for frontline staff working in the Whitecourt and Mayerthorpe hospitals.
Our guild relies on funds from our bi-annual quilt show to help fund our charity efforts. As a result of COVID-19 our Quilt Show was cancelled. As a result we did not collect cash donations for our charity activities.
