Pink Perambulating Piper Cycle Across Canada

The Pink Perambulating Piper is cycling across Canada (while holding down a job), unaided and all alone - except for his life-long imaginary friend Norman No-Mates.

It took him 10 years to get across the Rocky Mountains and British Columbia, following the Trans Canada Trail, with a couple of fun side-tracks and Covid getting in the way. That was 1,000kms and with 8,000kms to go, he worked on simple math to determine that it would take 80 years to complete the Grand Tour!!! So he had better speed up a tad. So, in 2024 he cycled from Calgary to Winnipeg, a total of 1,600kms, and enjoyed this a lot.

In August 2025, the Pink Perambulating Piper plans to cycle from Winnipeg to Toronto, a planned distance of 2,200kms. Donation will be greatly appreciated, either as a lump sum amount, or amount per km covered, e.g. 5 cents a kilometer cycled will be an outlay of $110, and you can pay as he makes progress!!!

The Pink Perambulating Piper's passions are poetry and bagpiping, preferably simultaneously. He makes up poems while cycling, to keep his mind active and to quibble with Norman No-Mates about syntax. He so appreciates his abilities and health to give him the opportunity to achieve this Grand Tour, so he is keen to pay it forward to organizations who align with these talents.
