Pillow Pets for Harborview 2023

We are the Strode Family! Every July 2nd we deliver Pillow Pets for burn survivors and year supply of coffee and a lunch for the staff at Harborview Medical Center Burn ICU. In 2011 our two oldest daughters were burned in a campfire accident in our backyard. Our then 2 year old Brooklyn, was inpatient for 24 hours with second degree burns. But our then 4 year old, Addie was inpatient for 48 days receiving skin grafts to her arms, face and hands. The staff of Harborview are like no other. They are powerhouses that show great care while families are experiencing the absolute worst traumas. We give back to show our gratitude, but also to encourage other young burn survivors that they will make it and things will get better. Also to let them and their families know they are now alone. Please feel free to donate a Pillow Pet or give a monetary donation that will go towards the coffee and food donated on July 2nd. This is truly a magical time of year for our family and we know the staff of the BICU love this day too! We turned our worst day into one of the very best!
