Hi my name is James Moukoue.

I’m incredibly grateful and excited to share that I’ve been given the opportunity to serve as a volunteer for the upcoming Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Ever since I started going to Lourdes 3 years ago, my faith has been a guiding force in my life. It is truly a life changing experience. Now I feel a deep calling not just to be part of the Catholic community, but to actively serve it especially through leadership. Being able to support others, bring people together, and help create meaningful spiritual experiences is something I’ve always been passionate about.

Lourdes is a place of profound prayer, healing, and hope. As a Team Leader, I will be responsible for helping care for and guide pilgrims ,many of whom are elderly, sick, or in need of support, throughout this deeply important journey. I am also responsible for a group of less experienced volunteers of whom I will guide on how to make the most of their time in Lourdes and making sure they give their pilgrims the best possible pilgrimage experience. It’s both a privilege and a responsibility that I don’t take lightly.

To make this possible, I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and essential pilgrimage expenses. I will be doing this by doing a 10 mile sponsored walk on Sunday the 12th of April (the route is attached). Any support you can give whether through a donation or simply sharing this page would mean so much to me.

Your generosity will not only help me get to Lourdes, but will also directly support the care and experience of those who need it most during the pilgrimage.
